Although REALedger is designed with simplicity in mind, there are times when you want customizations done to the standard system. If, however, you are a brokerage with only a few agents, and you require no customization, you should have no trouble installing and using the REALedger system on your own.

Pre-conversion planning and assistance
If you have a large brokerage with many offices, you should dedicate some
time to planning the implementation and conversion process. You should identify
responsibilities and timelines, and step through any conversion checklists
and guidelines provided. Other items to consider are system configurations,
user security, data configurations, and system options in advance. This
is also the time to identify the must have reporting requirements.
MIS Consulting can make this step easier by providing
experienced consulting services to get you started down the right path.
Our consultants know the right questions to ask so that all the bases are
covered before, during, and after your implementation.
Conversion services
MIS can provide conversion services from your current system to REALedger.
If desired, we will perform any aspect of your data conversion, and/or will
assist your staff in completing the project in-house. You provide existing
data and MIS will have it in your system within days. Conversion to REALedger
is available at any time during the year; month-end, quarter-end, or year-end
conversions are not required. The optimum time to discuss the conversion
process is during pre-conversion planning sessions.
Multiple office integration
REALedger allows multiple offices to integrate and
roll-up. You can operate integrated offices independently, then generate reports based on the individual office data, combined
office data, or a hybrid of any combination of offices. Integration
of multiple offices is something that MIS can help you plan as well as implement.
Unique office setups
MIS can assist with your implementation when your office setup does not
share the traditional or default system setup. Typically, clients utilize
MIS professional consultants or resellers to ensure that system defaults are
initiated correctly and accurately to reflect to their business strategy. Setup
includes, but is not limited to, GL chart of accounts, pricing structures,
terms definition, etc. Customized reports or applications may also require
attention.
User training
Outside of customized system setup and best office practices, you should
not require additional product training. REALedger is delivered with context
sensitive help, a step-by-step Getting Started guide, and a comprehensive User Guide. When special training needs arise, MIS can provide expert training, tailored to your individual business and specific business application.
